General Sales Agent for Etihad Cargo Maldives represents by a foreign investment organization under Speed Air Cargo Net Maldives (Pvt) Ltd which is also a sister company of ATOLL Logistics Pvt Ltd in Maldives. Infrastructure facilities of both organizations are amalgamated and dedicated staff serving on each legal entity. Etihad launched it’s Maldives operation with A320-200 passenger air craft daily since 01st of November 2011 and it’s cargo GSA Maldives has performed very well with a continues growth on the ladder. It’s GSA staff has screened the cargo market in Maldives with an unwavering rhythm at peak and off peak seasons.
Maldives export market is a 100% chilled fish market. Etihad contributes to uplift perishable cargoes to Europe, USA & Canada ex Maldives via Abu Dhabi. Remarkable growth of cargo figures indicated on A320-200 flight operation with an average of more than 5 tons per air craft on Etihad Airways ex Maldives in March 2012. This was healthy for the Cargo GSA to keep the momentum move forward along with the outstanding support of Etihad CLC team in Mumbai. GSA worked very closely/friendly with Etihad CLC team in Mumbai to achieve the salient figures. The CLC team is leading by Mr. Ian Madigan – Manager Ground Operation of Etihad airways along with Mrs. Shermeen Kajeer – Area Manager India of Etihad airways who really assisted GSA cargo Maldives and CLC team to work together to Achieve the targets. Joint effort of both parties has favored Etihad Airways Maldives to meet record braking performances among its entire network at few occasions. They are as follows.
